Born in Castelo Branco, in 1959. Graduated in 1986 with a Law degree from the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon. Registered in the Portuguese Bar Association since 1987, date from which he devoted exclusively to advocacy.
He was member of the Illegal Representativeness Commission of the Portuguese Bar Association (2004-2005).
